Over the years I’ve worked to keep developing my skills base, and mask and puppetry have been of particular interest to me. I’ve worked with and been mentored by Sean Myatt, Rachael Canning, Dynamic New Animation, No Nonsense Theatre, Rachael Dixon, and Horse and Bamboo.

Film, TV & Recorded Media

My work on camera includes playing Fifer Benjamin Clegg in Mike Leigh’s Peterloo, Peter Stones in Coronation Street, Baz in the BBC BAFTA Award winning TV series The Cops, and PC Young in ITV Drama My Fragile Heart directed by Gavin Millar. As John Benjamin Dancer, my speaking hologram is a permanent exhibit at Manchester’s Museum of Science and Industry and somewhere no doubt on YouTube you’ll find me appearing in various adverts.  I have provided voices for two animated shorts, and several voice overs. I actively seek to extend my on Camera work, and am keen to work with emerging Filmmakers  - If you’re interested in collaborating, please contact me.

Corporate

For the past 18 years I’ve been working regularly within the Corporate sector, and consequently have experienced a huge range of different cultures and approaches. From improvised roleplay, to incredibly detailed naturalistic character briefs, facilitating for small groups or presenting to hundreds at International Conventions, I’ve worked with Entry Level  employees to CEOs. Much of my work has been through NV Management, and clients I have worked with include Rolls-Royce PLC, BBC, Insight Investment, Marsh Mclennan, General Motors, Tata Steel, Historic Royal Palaces, HM Prison Service, PA Consulting Group, Panasonic Europe, De Vere Hotel Group, Sanofi, Astrellas, Crown Plaza Worldwide, NICE and the NHS.
